Since spring 2018, Charles Bloema, is the owner of Château de Chazelles. We discovered by chance that the castle was for sale. Our love for and interest in beautiful, versatile France and the development of historical real estate came together in this new challenge. We took the plunge. In addition to our activities in the Netherlands, we are now increasingly located in Chazelles.

The previous owner, a contractor, has already done a lot of repair work on the buildings. We are engaged in the next steps towards full restoration of the castle, maintenance of the estate and of course the reception of our guests. Our six daughters alternately help us with this. We also work together with our neighbors, the municipality of Avèze, and others in the area.

We create a place where people can come together to meet as friends, colleagues or as a family. In peace, in nature and silence, but also with all kinds of activities in the area for young and old.
