Since several years, Charles Bloema & Cornelie Bol are the owners of Château de Chazelles. We discovered by chance that the castle was for sale. The love for and interest in beautiful, versatile France and the development of historical real estate came together in this new challenge. We took the plunge.

The previous owner, a contractor, has already done a lot of repair work on the buildings. We are engaged in the next steps towards full restoration of the castle, maintenance of the estate and of course the reception of our guests. Our daughters alternately help with this. We also work together with our neighbours, the municipality of Avèze, and others in the area.

We create a place where people can come together to meet as friends, colleagues or as a family. In peace, in nature and silence, but also with all kinds of activities in the area for young and old.
